Marnie Bigler

Marnie, as Advanced Financial Consultant’s Financial Officer, specializes in reporting and compliance of accounting practices for the firm. Committed to excellence, Marnie is responsible for employee payroll, employee benefits and the firm’s fiscal responsibilities.

Marnie is a 1989 graduate of Luther College majoring in Economics, Management, and English. Early in her career she worked in productivity services at Minnesota Mutual Life and long-term care management and admissions with Manor Health Care. In 1993 she began her securities career with Merrill Lynch and in 1995 moved to Aegon USA Securities serving as a General Securities Principal. Marnie married Jeff Bigler on September 1, 1990. As their house began to fill with both children and aging parents, she retired her licenses in 2000. While remaining with Advanced Financial as their year-end book keeper, she returned this past summer to take on her current expanded roll.

In her spare time, Marnie’s favorite place to be found is on Lake Vermilion with Jeff, their four adult children and families (John and Laura, Mary and Cole, Grace and Luke), and their dogs Boo and Belle. Marnie and Jeff are ardent supporters of Rochester Catholic Schools, where she serves on the Lourdes Foundation Board.
